Langford appointed Panasonic UK country manager

UK: Mick Langford has been appointed UK country manager for Panasonic’s heating and cooling division. He replaces John Kellett who has stepped down from the role for personal reasons.

Langford, who brings over 40 years of industry experience to the role, joined Panasonic UK in 2019, and has most recently been acting as head of sales and marketing.

Prior to Panasonic, he was eight years as technical director at Essex-based contractor All Seasons Group Services. His career began in the refrigeration industry with General Refrigeration in 1993, before spending two years as national service manager at Electrolux Commercial Services.

He entered the AC sector in 1997 as regional sales manager with Daikin distributor Cooling Services. Following Daikin’s buy out of the business in 2004, he spent the best part of seven years in a number of directorial roles within Daikin’s UK organisation.

Former Mitsubishi Electric UK general manager, Kellett joined Panasonic last year.

Jose Alves, regional director for the UK, Ireland and DACH region, commented: “Having worked closely Mick over the last six years, I am positive that Mick will take the company to the next level and will provide a thriving and strong team to develop the business within the UK.”
