Lawton Tubes turns to Brown

Michael Brown takes on the role of chairman at Lawton Tubes

UK: Copper tube manufacturer Lawton Tubes has named Michael Brown as its new board chairman.

Brown is also joining the business as a non-executive director after spending more than 15 years at Dormole Group – which operates a range of wholesale companies serving the fasteners and fixings, hand tools and power tools accessories markets – including Galleon Fixings where he was CEO for three-and-a-half years.

He takes over as board chairman from Rolf Herold who has held the role since 2016. During his reign, Lawton Tubes expanded its sales to 42 countries, and had grown its annual turnover to £230m with a 140-strong workforce in its bases across Coventry, Redditch and Poole.
