Lowe recognised as Best Managed company

UK: Lisburn-based refrigeration equipment rental company Lowe has been included in Deloitte’s list of Ireland’s Best Managed Companies.

Lowe was one of eight new businesses to have achieved the Best Managed Companies accolade which recognises outstanding business performance and leadership. This year Deloitte recognised 130 indigenous companies at the awards representing 24 of the 32 counties across the island of Ireland.

“This award is far more than just a trophy; it’s a validation of the daily hard work and dedication from each member of our team,” said Lowe CEO Rachel McCausland.

Founded in 1977, Lowe provides refrigeration and catering equipment for rental and sale to the world’s leading exhibitions, events and retailers.

This year’s Deloitte awards included 112 companies that re-qualified for the accolade. Five companies achieved Gold Standard for four years as a Best Managed Company, and five companies were awarded Platinum Standard for seven years.

The Best Managed Companies Programme originated in Canada in 1993 and is now in its 15th year in Ireland. In addition to Ireland and Canada, the programme is now run in a total of 48 countries including China, the USA, Southeast Asia, Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Denmark, Czech Republic, Italy, Sweden, Norway, Turkey, Mexico and Chile.
