Nigel Hillier joins Clivet UK

UK: Nigel Hillier, the former managing director of Carel UK, the Italian controls manufacturer’s subsidiary, has joined Clivet UK as general manager.

Hillier joins the British subsidiary of the Italian HVAC equipment manufacturer Clivet SpA to lead the business and its planned expansion in the commercial and residential sectors. He will manage the growth of Clivet applied systems, air conditioning and heat pump solutions and services, and further expand into the consultant specification market. 

Joining Carel UK in 2013 as national sales manager, Hillier was appointed MD in 2016. 

Hillier’s role at Carel UK has been filled by Sean Blandford, former UK and Ireland MD of Dutch company Aalberts hydronic flow control. He joined Aalberts in 2016 after previous HVAC experience with BSS, Grundfos and Ambi-Rad.
