Panasonic Aquarea J series receives ENA approval

UK: Panasonic says its Aquarea J Series heat pumps will have a faster and more straightforward installation process after receiving approval from the Energy Networks Association (ENA).

Traditionally, the installation of heat pump systems requires homeowners and installers to seek prior approval from their respective district network operators. According to Panasonic, this can be a time-consuming and sometimes uncertain process.  

“Having connect and notify approval removes the need for a lengthy application process, speeding up the installation of heat pump systems in the UK,” Panasonic says.

Now, homeowners and installers can proceed with the installation of Panasonic Aquarea J Series 5, 7 and 9kW units (models WH-MDC05J3E5, WH-MDC07J3E5 & WH-MDC09J3E5) without waiting for approval, as these are listed on the Energy Network Association database.
