Panasonic joins Scottish housing group
1st February 2024UK: Panasonic has become a commercial associate member of the Scottish Federation of Housing Associations (SFHA) in an effort to help provide more energy-efficient homes across Scotland.
Panasonic is already working with several housing associations across the UK to replace heating systems in their housing stock by installing heat pumps.
Head of renewables Paul Taylor said that Panasonic was looking forward to playing “a full and active role” within the organisation.
“We want to drive awareness of the importance of renewable heating systems to the wider Scottish community. We look forward to building on our current relationships and establishing new ones within the Scottish social housing sector,” he said.
Panasonic sees its latest Aquarea L range as particularly suitable for retrofit applications, with its new ECOi-W air-to-water reversible heat pump suitable for multi-dwelling properties such as high-rise apartment blocks.
