Panasonic partners with Plug Me In

UK: Panasonic has announced a collaboration with Scottish Power’s Manchester-based heat pump installers Plug Me In to provide Panasonic Aquarea heat pumps as part of Scottish Power’s offering.

Over the last 18 months, Scottish Power has installed over 3,000 heat pumps in houses across England, Scotland and Wales, utilising government grants and the ECO4 scheme.

“With the help of government grants like the BUS scheme and the ECO4 initiative, homeowners are supported in their green transition. Thanks to our new partnership with Plug Me In and ScottishPower, we are proving that anyone can make this change,” commented Jose Alves, Panasonic’s regional director for Panasonic UK, Ireland, and the Netherlands.

Engineers from Plug Me In will install Panasonic Aquarea L or J Series air-to-water heat pumps with Panasonic Smart Cloud controls for customers on behalf of the Scottish Power Customer Business in the UK. Looking to make this transition as simple as possible for customers,

Panasonic will make available their wide range of Aquarea units to Plug Me In to ensure the correct size of heat pump is installed in each home. Plug Me In currently has 23 installers throughout the UK, all with Panasonic training to install the heat pumps.
