Paul Szyszczak to leave Danfoss

UK: Paul Szyszczak, sales director and UK & Ireland country manager at Danfoss Climate Solutions is to leave the company at the end of this month after more than 27 years with the business.

Szyszczak joined Danfoss in 1996 as a UK product manager for compressors, where he played a key role in launching the Performer scroll compressor into the UK market. In 2005, he was part of the design and launch team for the Optyma Plus range of housed condensing units in Europe.

He has served as country leader and sales director since 2022 and, more recently, as the chair of Danfoss Ltd.

Paul Szyszczak traces his career back to 1982 when he joined Kings-Lynn-based Foster Refrigerator as a graduate trainee. In 1987 he joined Copeland (formerly Prestcold) as distributor manager UK, Germany, Benelux and Nordic, before becoming UK field sales manager in 1992.

In his farewell remarks, Szyszczak said, “There is never an easy time to say it’s time to leave, but the future is bright for all our staff as Danfoss has some of the best products and energy-saving solutions to enable the UK to work towards and achieve the goal of net zero.”
