Ritchie to outsource distribution for greater efficiency

UK: Ritchie Engineering, manufacturer of Yellow Jacket HVACR tools, has appointed Paul Ponsonby to handle its warehousing and distribution in Europe.

Ritchie says that this move, which sees the closure of the company’s existing UK warehouse, will help reduce environmental impact while introducing enhanced systems and processes to increase order efficiency and expand product availability in Europe.

Paul Ponsonby is an award winning company offering warehousing solutions and specialist distribution from its 100,000ft2 warehouse in Birmingham.

“This strategic shift allows Ritchie Engineering to re-allocate resources toward further strengthening our commitment to customer service and global growth while also providing faster shipping and improved product availability across Europe and beyond,” said Ritchie Engineering president Kristen Ritchie.

Neil Stewart, director of international sales and technical support added: “We are confident that this step will allow us to serve our customers better and strengthen our commitment to delivering high-quality products and services.”
