Roberts appointed BRA president

UK: Neil Roberts, senior technical sales manager at Bristol-based refrigerant supplier Climalife, has been appointed president of the British Refrigeration Association (BRA).

Previously vice-president of the BRA, Roberts takes over from Mark Hughes of Chemours.

Roberts has worked at Climalife for almost three years after previously spending 12 years at Chemours (previously DuPont) where he was, coincidentally, a close colleague of Mark Hughes in his role as technical and business development refrigerants EMEA.

Welcoming him to the role of BRA president, Mark Hughes said of Roberts: “His wealth of industry knowledge and experience will be instrumental in helping the BRA navigate a fast-changing refrigerant sector and keep the association at the forefront of the movement towards low emissions solutions.”
