Tomoji Miki named Daikin UK MD

UK: Tomoji Miki has been named as Daikin UK MD. He succeeds Hiroyasu Ishikawa, who has been appointed MD of Daikin Central Europe.
Tomoji Miki’s career spans over 30 years at Daikin, during which he has worked exclusively in sales and held key leadership roles. His international experience includes 13 years in China, over seven years in Brazil, and three years in Malaysia. He also served as co-department manager of Daikin Europe’s commercial direct expansion sales business unit.
Hiroyasu Ishikawa was appointed UK MD in 2022, after six years as deputy MD, replacing Angela McGinlay.
Looking forward to the task, Tomoji Miki said: “We see great potential in the residential and commercial markets. We would like to go back to basics: providing the best products, best services, and best technical proposals that the market demands. In the residential market, we are also looking to strengthen our service business.”
Mark Dyer will continue to provide support as deputy MD.
