Williams honours long servers

UK: Williams Refrigeration has honoured 10 employees for reaching employment milestones totalling 210 years with the King’s-Lynn-based business.  

The company’s annual celebratory lunch and awards recognises the loyalty of its staff which number over 200 across the UK.

Purchasing manager Robert Smith was celebrating the 30-year milestone, while Stephen Leslie, managing director of Williams’ Scotland Contracting Unit received an award for 20 years.

Others celebrating 20 years were technician Darren Hall, stores operative Michael Steward, production operative Ian Wiggins, purchase ledger supervisor Lynette Wixey, production operative Paul Mason, senior refrigeration design engineer Lee White (all based at King’s Lynn), warehouse operative David Hayton at Williams’ Central Contracting Unit in Doncaster and sales project manager Steve Langford from the Southern Contracting Unit in Maidenhead.

Williams has manufacturing sites in China and Australia, too, and sales facilities around the world.  The company also has regional contracting units supporting customers throughout the UK, in Edinburgh, Doncaster, Maidstone and Basingstoke.
