A-Gas increases refrigerant storage
UK: Refrigerant supplier A-Gas has invested in two new tanks at its site in Portbury, near Bristol, providing an additional 100T of storage capacity.
With an industry focus on moving to low GWP refrigerants, A-Gas says it has installed these tanks to broaden its product range and prepare for the future. The company reports ambitious expansion plans to treble its European presence over the next three years.
A-Gas completed the acquisition of Hamburg-based refrigerant supplier Arthur Friedrichs Kältemittel (AFK) last month, and announced plans to use it as a base for a new refrigerant reclamation facility. This acquisition was A-Gas’ third since private equity investment firm KKR bought a stake in the company last year.
