Airedale achieves Saudi standard
UK/SAUDI ARABIA: Leeds-based Precision air conditioning manufacturer Airedale has achieved the Saudi Arabian SASO certification for its products.
SASO (Saudi Arabian Standards Organisation) is a conformity assessment programme covering all goods imported to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The assessments are designed to raise efficiency standards and contribute to environmental protection within the Kingdom.
A statement on Airedale’s website says: “This is a great achievement that will help to further boost Airedale’s business profile, and build on past successes in Saudi Arabia. The accreditation has already had an impact, resulting in our recently confirmed participation in the Riyadh Metro project.”
The $22.5bn Riyadh Metro project consists of six lines and 85 stations, and a total length of 176km. It is scheduled to be fully operational in 2021.
