Akama named president and CEO of Goodman Global

USA: Satoru Akama has been appointed president and CEO of Daikin’s US air conditioning subsidiary Goodman Global. He replaces Takeshi Ebisu who has decided to step down from the role.
Akama joined Daikin in 1986 from Yokohama National University. He joined Goodman in April 2017 and most recently has served as the executive vice president and president, Goodman Business Unit.
Brad Snyder, who has served as senior vice president North America GBU sales & distribution, has been selected to lead the Goodman Business Unit as senior vice president and president.
