Argentina ratifies Kigali

ARGENTINA: The largest Spanish speaking country and the eighth-largest country in the world, Argentina has become the latest country to ratify the Kigali Amendment to phase down HFCs.
Argentina’s ratification on November 22 makes it the 89th of the 197 countries that adopted the Kigali Amendment in 2016. Under the agreement, countries commit to cut the production and consumption of HFCs by more than 80% over the next 30 years.
