Armacell opens Tokyo office and training unit

LUXEMBOURG: Flexible insulation foam manufacturer Armacell has established a new sales office and technical application centre in Tokyo.
The new office houses an expanded local commercial team to support what has been one of the fastest growing markets for Armacell in recent years.
The new technical application centre will offer classroom-based training to local contractors and installers and educate them on the correct methods for installation of Armacell’s products. Local training and the launch of a certified-installer programme is designed to ensure the quality of the product’s installation.
Japan is said to have the second largest construction market in Asia by size, and growth prospects are strong. This is due to reconstruction efforts as well as preparation for the 2020 Olympics.
