Armenia becomes 72nd to ratify Kigali

ARMENIA: The Republic of Armenia has become the 72nd country to ratify the Kigali Amendment to phase down HFCs under the Montreal Protocol.
The addition of Armenia follows ratification by Montenegro at the end of last month.
Under the Kigali Amendment, adopted by 197 countries in 2016, countries countries committed to cut the production and consumption of HFCs by more than 80% over the next 30 years.
