Arneg acquires Frigomeccanica

ITALY: Commercial refrigeration manufacturer Arneg has acquired fellow Italian company Frigomeccanica Srl, a specialist in ice cream display freezers, pastry showcases and deli and supermarket displays.

Headquartered in the province of Teramo, Frigomeccanica was founded in 1962 and operates internationally through its brands Frigomeccanica, Stiltek, Officine 900, and Sifa.

According to Arneg, the acquisition strengthens its role as a global, all-encompassing partner by expanding its portfolio of solutions in the gelato, pastry, and café segments. 

The Arneg Group is an international player in commercial and retail refrigeration, with a network covering Europe, America, Asia, Africa and Oceania.

Highlighting the strategic relevance of the acquisition, Daniele Marzaro, CEO of Arneg Group’s foreign subsidiaries, said: “Combining our respective strengths will allow us to provide increasingly customised and technologically advanced solutions, capable of flexibly adapting to local needs while maintaining high and consistent quality standards.”
