Bauer heads ac sales at Systemair

GERMANY: Former Trox CEO Michael Bauer has taken over management of the air conditioning sales and marketing activities of Systemair.
A former sales and marketing manager with German compressor manufacturer Bitzer, Bauer began his professional career in 1988 as sales manager at the US subsidiary of German fan manufacturer Rosenberg. He subsequently spent eight years with another fan manufacturer Ebm-Papst, progressing to sales director Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa. He joined Bitzer in 2011, progressing to chief sales and marketing officer.
He joined Trox as CEO in 2014 but departed just over a year later in what was described by Trox as “part of a strategic realignment of the company”.
