Beijer Ref acquires Thai manufacturer

Established in 2007 with Thai company Eastern Syntech Co, Patton Aero has sales of around €3.2m. From its 3,700m² premises, the company manufactures Patton-branded unit coolers, air-cooled condensers and condensing units, predominantly in India, the Middle East, South East Asia and Australia.

Beijer Ref says the acquisition of the remaining 40% of the shares increases the opportunities for its OEM division to develop environmentally friendly refrigeration technology in Asia.

Beijer Ref’s activities in Australasia are now headed by managing director Sameer Handa, previously Patton’s group CEO.
