Beijer Ref reports highest EBITA margin
18th July 2025
SWEDEN: Wholesaler Beijer Ref has reported a net sales increase of 5% in Q2 to SEK10,181m (€905m) and its highest ever EBITA margin of 12.2%.
Excluding currency effects, net sales actually increased by 12%. Organic sales increased by 2%.
“Overall, sales, profit and the EBITA margin were Beijer Ref’s highest ever in a quarter,” claimed CEO Christopher Norbye.
The Group’s EBITA amounted to SEK1,238m (€110m) in the second quarter, an increase of 8%. The EBITA margin improved by 0.3 percentage points compared with the same period last year – the result of the company’s continued focus on its strategic initiatives, according to Norbye.
The HVAC and commercial and industrial refrigeration product segments reported organic growth of 3% and 1%, respectively, in the quarter.
While Beijer Ref’s OEM segment reported sales in line with the previous year, its Fenagy and SCM Frigo companies reported strong growth during the quarter. Fenagy delivered the first part of a breakthrough order for an industrial heat pump and cooler for use in data centres, which was received in the second quarter of 2024. SCM Frigo secured another CO2 project on the North American market, a market where the company sees significant growth opportunities.
