Beijer Ref sales up 20%
22nd October 2026
SWEDEN: Wholesaler Beijer Ref has recorded net sales of SEK11,641m (€1,047m) in Q3, a 20% increase on the same quarter in 2025.
EBITA was up 19% to SEK1,350m (€122m), despite being negatively impacted by acquisition costs of SEK30m (€2.7m) due to an acquisition-intensive quarter. This included the acquisition of 80% of Canadian distributor Enertrak, agreements to acquire 90% of Refra, a Lithuanian manufacturer of natural refrigerant HVACR systems, and 75% of Greek distributors FG Europe, as well as the completion of the acquisition of New Zealand wholesaler Refspecs.
Overall, Beijer Ref’s sales, profit and operating cash flow were the highest ever recorded in a single quarter.
Strong growth was achieved in several major markets in Western Europe as a result of the hot summer and accelerating demand for air conditioning in Europe. The group also saw stable organic growth in North America, which were up 3%.
Cumulative figures for the first nine months of the year were SEK30,976 (€2,787m), an increase of 8% compared with the corresponding period last year.
