Beijer Ref signs German supply deal

GERMANY: Refrigeration wholesaler Beijer Ref’s subsidiary in Germany has signed a supply agreement with leading German contractor Dresdner Kühlanlagenbau (DKA).

Beijer Ref Deutschland will provide logistics support, supplying product to DKA’s nationwide branches and managing refrigerant cylinder supply and return.

Part of Germany’s Dussmann group, Dresdner Kühlanlagenbau has 500 employees and 36 offices nationwide. Sales were €73m in 2013.

Only established in 2011, Beijer Ref Deutschland last year acquired the family-owned wholesaler Grün and its facility in Stuttgart. In addition, Beijer Ref Deutschland has branches in Düsseldorf, Nuremberg, Munich and Leipzig.
