Bitzer sees sales rise 5.8%

BITZER_Competence_Center-Screws_RottenburgGERMANY: Compressor manufacturer Bitzer reports a sales increase of 5.8% in its 2014 financial figures just released.

Bitzer saw sales increase from €621m in 2013 to €657m last year and managed to boost the workforce by 200 to 3,400 employees.

Managing director and CEO Peter Schaufler also revealed that in the past year alone, the company had invested €25m in research and development.

Bitzer reveals that the new financial year will see the development of additional compressors designed for use with low GWP refrigerants. The key area of focus, it says, is energy efficiency based on innovative capacity controls and the eco-friendly character of the products.
