Bitzer to open fifth site in India

INDIA: German refrigeration compressor manufacturer Bitzer has opened a new sales office in Lucknow, as a further expansion of its business in India.

In a rapidly growing economy, Bitzer sees the value of providing local support to meet the high demand for reliable cooling. In particular, the new office offer even better support for regional customers with special attention to the industrial refrigeration segment with the company’s  ammonia compressor packs.

“Customer satisfaction and service play a key role at Bitzer,” said Bitzer India MD Harvinder Bhatia. “We are happy to be able to serve our local customers from Lucknow and around even better now. Also we put a focus on our ammonia compressor packs as we see the need here in the region.”

Bitzer has been expanding its operations in India since 1999 already. The company has also started fully owned Green Point service centers in Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore and Kolkata.
