Carel short-listed for Euro award

ITALY: Carel Industries has been short-listed for a top award created by the European Commission to recognise the best small and medium-sized listed companies in Europe.

The Italian controls and humidifier manufacturer is one of just three companies short-listed in the International Star category at the annual European Small and Mid-Cap Awards. 

The Awards, launched in 2013, recognise companies in four categories – International Star, Rising Star, Star of Innovation and Star of 2019. The co-organisers of the event include EuropeanIssuers, representing listed companies, and the Federation of European Securities Exchanges (FESE), representing stock exchanges. 

The International Star category goes to a newly listed mid-cap company that boasts impressive results in terms of international sales, profit and market share growth.

Carel Industries has been selected from 27 nominated companies over 12 countries, listed on ten different European stock exchanges.

The winners will be announced at a special event at the Theatre de Vaudeville in Brussels on November 12.
