Carrier Refrigeration Sweden sold

SWEDEN: Stockholm-based service and installation company Bravida is acquiring Carrier Refrigeration Sweden’s service operations in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmo.

Carrier Refrigeration Sweden AB, a part of Carrier Commercial Refrigeration, has 37 employees and annual sales of approximately SEK50m (€4.9m).

Bravida is a leading multi-technical service provider who install and maintain functions for electricity, heating and cooling, water, ventilation and security. It operates more than 150 locations in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland and has around 10,000 employees. Sales in 2017 were SEK17,293m (€1,682m).

“Bravida has a strategic goal to become a leading service and installation partner within cooling in Sweden. It is a fast-growing market and this acquisition supports our goal,” said the company’s head of division national Sven Klockare. “We will gain a stronger position and a partnership with Carrier Commercial Refrigeration on the Swedish cooling market,” he added.

Søren Steen Thomsen, Carrier Refrigeration’s MD for Sweden and Denmark, said he was looking forward to continued collaboration. “Carrier continues to market and sell its products to customers in Sweden. By selling our service operations in Sweden to a nationwide player, we will become an even stronger service and installation partner to costumers all over Sweden,” he said.

Carrier Refrigeration Sweden’s service operations will become a part of Bravida on January 1st, 2019.
