Castel buys control panel company Pego
ITALY: Milan-based refrigeration and air conditioning components manufacturer Castel has acquired Italian controls manufacturer Pego.
Founded in 1997 and based in Occhiobello, between Bologna and Padova, Pego Srl is an Italian leader in the production of electric panels for refrigeration and air conditioning systems and as a manufacturer of electrode steam humidifiers.
Pego now joins the Castel group, which is represented in over 90 countries across the world through its own distribution network and its partners Castel Refrigeration (Shanghai), Castel Technology (Shanghai) and Castel USA.
Established in 1961, Castel is a family-owned business offering more than 3,000 products including thermostatic and electronic expansion valves, solenoid valves, coils, connectors, safety devices, water pressure switch valves, pressure regulators, indicators, filter driers, mechanical filters, oil level control systems, valves for refrigeration systems, vibration isolators and brass fittings.
