Chillventa set to surpass IKK

Chillventa 2012GERMANY: The organiser of Nuremberg’s Chillventa exhibition is expecting to reach close to 1,000 exhibitors.

If achieved, this would be a record for the show since its launch in 2008 and could surpass the achievements of the original IKK show which it replaced.

Admitting to be “highly satisfied” with progress for the event project manager Alexander Stein said “This represents a fantastic endorsement of how well Chillventa has been received at the national and international level.”

The show, which takes place at from 14 to 16 October at its traditional Nuremberg venue, will also play host to a full technical conference programme the day before the trade fair opens.

“There are yet more exciting challenges and opportunities in store for the refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation and heat pump technology sector,” commented Dr Rainer Jakobs, coordinator of Chillventa Congressing. “The latest F-gas regulation is having a significant impact on the market. Whereas in Germany the sector is focusing on the shift to renewable energies, internationally the key issues continue to be the environment and climate protection.” says Dr Jakobs.

At Chillventa Congressing, renowned international speakers will share expertise from R&D and practice and provide information about the current political frameworks in Europe and worldwide. The new event planner tool allows trade fair visitors to quickly and easily organise their customised programme.
