China seizes counterfeit refrigerant

CHINA: Authorities in China report the seizure of 900 cylinders of counterfeit refrigerant in swoops in Zhuhai, Guangdong province.
The seizures were the result of joint investigations by the Municipal Public Security Bureau and the Municipal Bureau of Quality Supervision in Doumen District Baijiao town located south of Zhuhai.
In addition to 900 counterfeit Golden brand and Giant brand refrigerant cylinders, investigators also seized related tags, labels, sealing tape, raw materials and shipping documents. Both brands are from indigenous manufacturers: Golden brand is produced by Nanjing Jinling and Giant by Zhejiang Quzhou.
The public security authorities seized computers and documents which provided further details of distribution channels and enabling them to track down downstream sales.
