Climalife sponsors RAC at EuroSkills

HUNGARY: Refrigerant supplier Climalife is sponsoring the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning skill competition at this week’s EuroSkills 2018 in Budapest.

EuroSkills is the European Championship of young professionals, a promotion of skills and latest skills developments around Europe. The competition is held every two years in one of the WorldSkills Europe member states. This year it will take place in Budapest, Hungary at Hungexpo, between 26-28 September 2018.

There are 28 participating countries this year with 600 competitors participating in 37 skills.

Climalife said it made the decision to sponsor this event because the future of our ever changing industry is in the hands of young people, so the transfer of knowledge to the younger generation is vital.

Competitors in the refrigeration and air conditioning section will plan and design, install, test, commission, report, maintain, fault find and repair systems to a high standard.

Climalife will also be present at the event with its Try a Skill stand, where visitors will get the chance to try out different skills in an interactive way. Visitors will be able to see how dirt vanishes from an old fan by using appropriate products; why the freezing point of a heat transfer fluid in a secondary refrigeration system is very important for a process; and how to measure and read the results of different types of heat transfer fluids with the help of a refractometer.
