POLAND: Humidification and evaporative cooling company Condair has formed a Polish joint venture with local distribution company Ampar-Silesia.

The new company, Condair Polska, is located in the centre of Warsaw, and will be active from July 1.

Ampar-Silesia was established in 2000 and, amongst its range of products, represents the Nordmann range of humidifiers. Outside the JV, Ampar-Silesia’s main business will remain the wholesale of ventilation products.

The MD of the new business is Tomasz Olszewski, humidification sales manager at Ampar-Silesia and, before that, spent nine years at HVACR distributor Teoma. Piotr Maruszkiewicz also joins the  new team, with responsibility for order handling and logistics.

This latest move follows the establishment of similar joint ventures in Mexico and Turkey in 2017, the acquisition of Aireven in Australia in 2018 and the formation of a new sales organisation in Sweden in January 2019.
