CoolSys buys Energy Squared
23rd July 2018USA: CoolSys, the US refrigeration and air conditioning group, has acquired New-Jersey-based consultancy Energy Squared.
Energy Squared specialises in mechanical, electrical, plumbing and refrigeration engineering analysis and design for all types of buildings worldwide, including commercial, industrial, retail, hospitality/entertainment/leisure, mixed use and multifamily residential facilities.
Led by Allan Samuels, principal, and Clive Samuels, principal and professional engineer, Energy Squared has been operating for more than 30 years.
“Adding 100 engineers to our team not only significantly expands our engineering resources, expertise, and technological sophistication, but gets us involved at the inception point of projects in existing and new verticals,” commented Adam Coffey, president and CEO of CoolSys.
Headquartered in Southern California, CoolSys has more than 1,400 highly trained, field-based service and installation engineers serving more than 3,500 customers across North America.
Energy Squared is headquartered in Princeton, NJ, with additional offices in San Antonio and Orlando.
