Coronavirus forces postponement of Irish show

IRELAND: The coronavirus Covid-19 has forced the postponement of IRAC 2020, the Irish Institute of Refrigeration’s first refrigeration and air conditioning exhibition.

Scheduled to take place at the Green Isle Hotel, Dublin, on April 1, the event has now been postponed to November 4.

The Institute says the decision has been taken after constantly monitoring the coronavirus outbreak and speaking directly with colleagues and exhibitors.

“We have a number of exhibitors who are now on a travel ban and will be unable to exhibit,” the Instiute said in its statement. “This decision is disappointing and has not been made lightly, however the health of our customers, partners and employees is our number one priority.”
