Daikin France acquires WEEE stake

FRANCE: Daikin’s French subsidiary has acquired a stake in Ecologic, a government-backed business organising WEEE collection and recycling.
Ecologic was founded 10 years ago by electrical and electronics equipment manufacturers with the mission to organise and control the channels for collecting and recycling of waste electrical and electronic equipment for its members.
By taking a stake in Ecologic, Daikin will be able to take part in discussions and decisions in the management of WEEE. The company offers an open shareholding and already has 13 equal shareholders.
