Daikin launches R32 in Sweden

Ururu-Sarara-R32-copySWEDEN: Daikin Sweden is the latest Daikin subsidiary to officially launch the Ururu Sarara air conditioner running on the low GWP refrigerant R32.

Already available in some air conditioning units in the Far East, India and Australia, Daikin’s R32 units have also been available in some European countries since the back end of last year. Others are gradually coming on board, with launch in the UK expected some time next year.

The R32 units can achieve a SEER of up to 9.54 (A +++) and a SCOP of up to 5.9 (A +++), making them the most energy efficient of this type on the market. R32 has a GWP of 675, in comparison with 2088 for R410A, is said to achieve higher efficiency both at partial load and full load and, being a single component refrigerant, has no glide issues and is easy to recycle.
