Daikin predicts 30,000 R32 sales

MALAYSIA: Daikin expects to sell over 30,000 R32 air conditioning units in Malaysia over the next 12 months.

Launched today in Kuala Lumpur, the new R32 units will be available through 400 authorised Malaysian dealers at local prices starting at the equivalent of around €400.

Predicting sales over 30,000 units within its first year, Edwin Chai, Daikin Airconditioning (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd’s operation’s manager, told Malaysia’s National News Agency, Bernama, “We’re expecting the new R32 models to contribute 30% to our sales volume in Malaysia.”
