Daikin subsidiary buys Seattle companies

The InControl office in Renton

USA: AirReps, the Washington-based subsidiary of Daikin Comfort Technologies North America has acquired Seattle based companies Integrated Systems and Controls LLC and InControl.

Established in 2005, Integrated Systems is recognised in the US for its OEM startup and warranty support services. It is said that the company addresses some of the most challenging sites and situations relative to complex equipment and applications.

InControl was formed in 2001 and represents many controls and energy management products including control monitoring and metering. The addition of InControl’s products and controls support are seen as complementary to Daikin’s continued technology development.

These acquisitions are expected to help Daikin and AirReps meet the commercial market’s need for integrated services. The combined capabilities these additions will offer Daikin’s VRV and Light Commercial business include service capability, remote monitoring, and predictive maintenance programs.

“Both acquisitions will greatly enhance the capabilities of AirReps and will allow us to provide a more comprehensive array of services for our customers,” said Takayuki (Taka) Inoue, executive vice president and chief sales and marketing officer for Daikin Comfort Technologies. “This will include an expanded variety of products, controls support and service from start-up and warranty to long term maintenance and repair.”
