Daikin to organise 3-day technology event

GERMANY: Daikin Germany is to organise a three-day refrigeration and air conditioning technology event in Berlin in March.
The event, looking at innovation and future prospects for the industry, will be aimed at trade partners, planners, architects and people from business and politics,
High-profile guest speakers include former German federal environment minister Prof Dr Klaus Töpfer and Thomas Huber, managing director of the German think-tank Münchner Zukunftsinstituts (Munich Future Institute).
The event is to be held from March 25-27 at the Estrel Hotel in Berlin. The first day will be exclusively Daikin’s Trade Partner day and after that will be opened up to planners, architects, and representatives from politics and economics. Daikin’s established annual Planners day will also be incorporated into the three-day gathering.
Describing the event, Gunther Gamst, ceo of Daikin Airconditioning Germany GmbH said ”We want to bring together people and different perspectives. Therefore, we have pooled our events and opened it to a wide audience.
“We also invite other companies to be a partner of the event. Partner companies of the Leading Air Convention will have the opportunity to introduce yourself with a lecture and a display stand,” he said.
