Daikin VRV is Eurovent certified

BELGIUM: Daikin’s range of air-cooled VRV systems is now certified by Eurovent.

The independent Eurovent certification verifies the performance ratings of air conditioning and refrigeration products according to European and international standards. Daikin now joins Hitachi, LG and Samsung in providing certified air-cooled VRF products

Daikin’s Eurovent-certified products now include split and air-to-water heat pumps, commercial Sky Air units, chillers, fan coils and air handling units.

“Eurovent Certification must provide a common platform enabling full transparency in comparing product efficiencies for the benefit of customers, specifiers and end-users,” said Bernard Dehertogh, Daikin’s European VRV SBU manager. He went on to say: “Daikin’s view, however, is that the programme can still be improved to provide even better comparison between products. To this end, we will shortly be putting forward proposals aimed at optimising the evaluation process.”
