Danfoss and ANEO Retail expand into Norway

DENMARK: Danfoss and ANEO Retail intend to drive growth and advance energy efficiency in food retail by expanding their partnership into Norway.

Building on a successful partnership in Sweden and Denmark, ANEO Retail and Danfoss have identified significant opportunities together in the Nordic food retail market—not just for energy optimisation, but for a broader shift in how technical infrastructure is procured and operated. 

ANEO retail offers a comprehensive energy-as-a-service model that enables retailers to subscribe to fully managed technical systems, thereby reducing capital investments while ensuring stable operations, energy efficiency, and professionalised service and monitoring.

To realise the market potential, ANEO Retail is taking two strategic steps, consolidating all Nordic operations – Norway, Sweden, and Denmark – under one umbrella in ANEO Retail International and strengthening their collaboration with Danfoss. As a strategic partner and investor Danfoss brings both financial strength and technical expertise with its food retail products, including its Danfoss Bock compressors and controls systems.

Currently, ANEO Retail monitors and manages energy consumption in over 1,700 grocery stores across the Nordics within their range of services.
