DiversiTech appoints manufacturing expert

USA: DiversiTech Corp, a leading manufacturer and supplier of HVACR parts and accessories, has hired Chris Cummins as chief manufacturing officer.
In this newly created role, Cummins will oversee all Diversitech’s manufacturing and warehouse operations. This includes overseeing eight facilities located throughout the US, Canada and Europe comprising more than 1 million square feet of space and managing more than 7,000 product items in over 200 product categories.
CEO Jim Prescott said, “We are excited to have Chris join the DiversiTech team. Chris’s expertise will be invaluable in helping to further improve our industry-leading service levels, while paving the way for further expansion of our product line offering.”
Chris Cummins has more than 20 years experience in business operations and manufacturing. He is described as a Lean/Six Sigma expert with extensive experience in finance and administration, mergers and acquisitions, and sales and marketing.
Prior to joining DiversiTech, Cummins served as senior vice president and chief manufacturing officer, OEM Solutions at Symmetry Medical. Before his tenure at Symmetry, Cummins was the general manager for the aerospace and industrial business units at Danaher Corp, a $13bn diversified technology company.
