Drake & Scull lands €34m cooling contracts

UAE: Drake & Scull Engineering has won contracts valued at AED131m (€34m) for cooling and HVAC projects in the UAE and Dubai.
The contracts to deliver mechanical and lighting works for a mixed-use residential and commercial tower in Abu Dhabi and two district cooling plants in Dubai brings the total of projects won by Drake & Scull in the region this year to AED2.4bn (€620m).
Work to supply and install the HVAC, building management, fire fighting, water supply and drainage systems to the residential and commercial tower has already begun.
The two district cooling plants have been designed to offer a combined 6,750TR. Work on both projects is due to start in January with a scheduled handover during Q4 2016.
