Ebm-Papst plans €10m expansion

Ebm-Papst-S-Georgen-HagenmoosGERMANY: Fans and motors manufacturer Ebm-Papst is investing €10m in an expansion of its facility in St Georgen, Baden-Württemberg.

The investment will include a new €5m, 3,500m² printed circuit board production unit in Hagenmoos close to St. Georgen. From January 2016 60 employees from St Georgen will work in this new production unit, while the research and development department will be using the freed up space in St Georgen.

The company will also invest around €4.5m in the building of a further 7,000 m² production unit at its factory in Vecsés, Hungary.
