Electrolux confirms GE interest
17th August 2014SWEDEN: Electrolux has confirmed its interest in US company GE’s appliances business.
Although admitting to be in discussion, the Swedish appliance manufacturer said in a statement “No agreement has been reached, and there can be no assurances that an agreement will be reached.”
Other interested bidders are rumoured to include Korean manufacturers LG and Samsung as well as Turkish manufacturer of Beko brand products Arcelik.
