Engie Axima set to acquire MCI
7th September 2017FRANCE: Engie Axima is in negotiations to acquire fellow French industrial and commercial refrigeration and air conditioning contractor MCI.
Established in 1950, MCI employs approximately 1,100 people and recorded turnover of nearly €179m in 2016. The company was acquired by investors AIAC from Johnson Controls in 2013.
A subsidiary of the Engie Group, Engie Axima is one of the French leaders in the field of climate engineering and fire protection. It has approximately 7,500 employees with a turnover of more than €1.3bn in 2016.
