Epta’s FTE system nominated for German Innovation Award

GERMANY: Epta’s FTE transcritical CO2 refrigeration system is one of the 22 nominees for this year’s German Innovation Award for Climate and Environment (IKU).
The award, organised by the Federal Association of German Industries eV (BDI) and the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU), is presented for products and services related to the advancement of climate and environmental protection.
Nominated in the award’s Environmentally Friendly Technologies category, Epta’s FTE (full transcitical efficiency) was developed to increase energy efficiency in industrial CO2 refrigeration systems. It was chosen from 141 entries.
All entries were scientifically evaluated by the Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research.
The award ceremony will take place on March 26, 2020 in Berlin.
