Ethiopia becomes 75th nation to ratify Kigali

ETHIOPIA: A country with a high vulnerability to climate change, Ethiopia has become the 75th nation to ratify the Kigali amendment to phase down HFC use.

Under the Kigali Amendment, adopted by 197 countries in 2016, countries countries committed to cut the production and consumption of HFCs by more than 80% over the next 30 years.

The countries to have ratified the Kigali Amendment in date order is:
