Euro service centre for Turbocor

DanfossTurbocor-service

DENMARK: The increasing popularity of Danfoss Turbocor compressors has prompted the Danish manufacturer to open a European service centre to support the product.

The new service centre, which opens in Offenbach, near Frankfurt, this month, will support the 20,000+ Turbocor compressors already installed in Europe. This is the first time that Danfoss has offered service, aftermarket sales, and root cause capability for Turbocor compressors on European soil.

Ideal location

Danfoss says it sees Offenbach as the ideal location for the regional service centre, being situated perfectly in the centre of Europe and less than 9km from Frankfurt.

“It’s a city which hosts 65 million travellers annually, a highly skilled workforce, and advanced transportation systems,” commented Ole Moller-Jensen, president Danfoss Central European Region.

This facility will provide aftermarket sales and service and will also serve as a distribution centre for spare parts.

President Danfoss Cooling Jürgen Fischer remarked: “With this investment, the Offenbach site will offer preventive and corrective maintenance and aftermarket sales and service. Our European customers will be able to return compressors for repair within Europe, removing the need for those customers to carry high levels of inventory and spare parts.”
